Vashti was born into a Polperro fishing family, spending her childhood around the harbour and developing what had become a lifelong love of the sea. She began painting in 1963, she received no formal art training and believes she has benefitted greatly as an artist from this, allowing her to develop her own particular style in which harmony of colour and atmosphere predominate. She has become a well known artist in the West Country, and feels privileged to live in Cornwall, getting inspiration from the mystical qualities of the landscape which she loves. She has several collectors of her work, both at home and abroad.
Vashti is now offering a Limited edition(50) of some of her paintings as high quality `Giclee` Prints on Canvas. You can now order one for £87.50 Including carriage (mainland only).When ordering, please state whether you`d like a box canvas or a traditional one which you can frame.
